Financial Information

We believe in using our resources wisely. All of our U.S. labor is volunteer so that as much of our funding/resources as possible reaches our programs in Africa.

CCAE organized itself during 2010 and has been focused on creating scale and seeking like-minded partners and relationships since that time. We are committed to transparency in all our activities.

We are a 501(c)(3) charitable organization. All contributions to CCAE are tax deductible to the fullest extent of U.S. tax law. See our IRS determination letter.

As a charitable organization we strive to keep our overhead as low as possible while still maintaining sound financial and administrative controls. Over 95% of our expenditures are budgeted for program expenditures. In a few cases, money from funding connections made by CCAE may be granted directly to one of our partnering nonprofit entities depending on the preferences and requirements of the grantors. All of our U.S. labor is volunteer.
